Here’s How to Completely Change Your Life in One Week

I'm the type of person that can't stand being given a how-to recipe and there's a million and one steps on how to do the recipe successfully! I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you're the same way. Luckily for you, today I'm going to give you the recipe to completely changing your life in just ONE WEEK in five simple steps. Sounds easy enough, right?! Let's dive into it.

INGREDIENT 1: DRINK MORE AGUA

Most times when we feel sluggish, drained, and fatigued it's because we aren't consuming enough water. There's so many benefits to drinking more water that I know would blow your mind! Water naturally supports immune health, muscle strength, and even promotes clearer skin. It helps to flush out toxins, increase focus and brain function, and puts up a fight against tiredness. Can you manage to drink about sixty-four ounces of water a day? That's only three sixteen ounce bottles of water a day! One in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening! Easy peasy!

INGREDIENT 2: MAKE YOUR BED EVERY DAY

Making your bed every morning may sometimes feel like a tedious task, but what makes it worth doing is the positive outcome it brings to the rest of your day. Research has shown that making your bed every morning is one of the simplest yet most effective things one can do to maintain a healthy state of mind. This mundane chore is known to improve sleep quality, reduce stress levels, and improve mental health. Mastering this small habit daily creates a sense of accomplishment and will give you a more organized living space and a more productive environment.

INGREDIENT 3: SAY 1 UPLIFTING PHRASE EACH MORNING

Someone once said "If you put yourself at the top of your to-do-list every day, the rest will fall into place." My day goes so much better when I start with an uplifting mantra, quote, or motivational video. Proverbs 18:21 says "Life and death is in the power of the tongue." Remember that what you speak is what will be! So, I encourage you to be kind to yourself. Start your days off with positivity and wonderful words of affirmation. You are wonderfully and beautifully made. Your hair is amazing. Hey, nice eyes! If they can do it, so can you! You are blessed. You are loved! YOU ARE ONE OF A KIND!


INGREDIENT 4: MEDITATE FOR 15 MINUTES A DAY

This is one of my favorite ingredients, because it's the easiest step that be curated so easily to your personality. Choose a location that makes you the happiest. Where do you feel most at peace? I know we can all be as busy as a bee most days, but find some time to go to that place. Even if there isn't a physical place you can go to, mentally imagine that place. Go and create an environment that is calming to you and quiet. You could even place some soft relaxing music if you'd like. Then, I want you for fifteen minutes to breathe slowly and deeply. And intentionally expel all negative and stressful thoughts and invite positive, light, and encouraging thoughts into your space. I just know you'll leave this mini-meditation session feeling like a whole new person.

INGREDIENT 5: GET MORE ORGANIZED

Staying organized frees the mind of confusion and clutter. It opens the door to creating an atmosphere of peace and easy-going vibes .
